L28 Hanomag in MOT units

Hello everyone,
Over the years I have gather about 15 example of L28 or AL28 Hanomag cargo trucks.
I understand that they were used in the early years of the Bw HEER.
My question is were they used in the first PzG MOT units until the DB U404 trucks arrived? or were they just found in administration units?
