Great metal finish on the Starfighter!
Tell us something about it. What colours for example?

The finish on the single seater Starfighter is a mix of polished aluminium and white aluminium from the Alclad 2 range and then just white for the wings and dark green for the anti glare strip on the nose. Because the Alclad 2 paint needs a black base I find that you can get an uneven metal finish depending on how well you airbrush so sometimes I vary the amount of paint just to get an effect of dirt or shine.

In regard to the Starfighter kit I should also point out that the red stripe decal near the tail is not supplied with the kit and has to be found elsewhere. I use a set of red stripes from ' Xtradecal' which comes as a sheet with varying thicknesses and cut it to the right size (they also do other colours in the stripes if you ever need them).
